When Jolie du Pré won a contest in 1998 for one of her young adult fiction stories, she knew she wanted to be a writer. However, it wasn't until 2001 when she entered the world of literary erotica that she found her groove.

Jolie's stories have appeared in a variety of webzines including the Galleries of the Erotica Readers and Writers Association, Scarlet Letters, Word Riot, Peacock Blue, Sensual Venus, Litbits and more. In addition, she has been published in e-book with Extasy Books and Ocean's Mist Press.

Jolie's erotica appears in many print anthologies including Hot & Bothered 4 - Short Short Fiction on Lesbian Desire edited by Karen X. Jolie is the editor of Iridescence: Sensuous Shades of Lesbian Erotica, published by Alyson Books. She is the founder of GLBT Promo, a promotional group for GLBT erotica and erotic romance. She is the news blog moderator for the Erotic Authors Association. She is also an article writer and a ghostwriter.

Jolie is editing her second anthology, Swing! Published by Logical-Lust and due to be released in Spring of 2009.

Jolie du Pré is a bisexual married woman, the mother of two children, and she lives in Chicago. At the end of 2007 she accomplished her dream of quitting her day job to write full-time.
